Lessons from Changing CARE

The Change Foundation has released Lessons from Changing CARE: The Discovery Phase of Experience-Based Co-Design, the first report of key learnings from the Changing CARE projects. This includes Connecting the Dots…Smoothing Transitions for Family Caregivers, a partnership of six organisations, including STAR FHT and North Perth FHT.

The report features 40 practical tips organized in five sections:

  • project planning
  • engagement planning
  • recruitment for engagement
  • engagement
  • post engagement

YOUR opinion please: moving from a culture of measurement to improvement

Over the past 4 years, individual teams have been translating their growing strength in measurement into ever-better care. The time has come to do that across the AFHTO membership. On May 30th, AFHTO’s Board set a goal of moving beyond measurement to create a culture of improvement. You can find a summary here.

To that end, we need your vote. Last week we sent an email asking each ED to complete this survey to help guide our collective efforts to move to the next level.

While we hope the perspective of the entire team is reflected in the answers, we ask only EDs to respond to avoid duplication in the responses.

Reminder: today’s the deadline to have your say on the AFHTO website

We’re revamping our website this year and to make sure the new site reflects our members’ needs, we’d like you to fill out a quick survey. We’ll then work with our developers to incorporate as much of your feedback as possible for us to launch later this year. Deadline July 3, 2018.
