LeaderShift: Training for leaders and emerging leaders
The LeaderShift training is rolling out, and it’s proving a great opportunity to advance as a leader. The Toronto, London and Sudbury cohorts are underway and feedback has been positive!There are still more to come. We encourage you to check them out and consider applying. Don’t wait as they’re filling up quickly! This is a great chance to get the nationally recognized LEADS certificate fully subsidized by the project. Travel subsidies are also available.Here are the LEADS Fall 2018 application deadlines:

CAMH Education Achieve Event: Pain management and opioid use
Want to know more about existing resources that can help you get better at managing pain and opioid use? Have resources you want to share? The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is holding a special evening session on Wednesday, June 13 to explore how partners are working together to integrate existing education and capacity-building supports for improved management of opioids and pain.

  • Networking and poster 5:00-6:00pm
  • Keynote address by Dr. Andrew Smith 6:00-7:00pm
  • Panel discussion from 7:00-8:00pm

This session will take place at 33 Russell St. in Toronto. It’s part of CAMH’s annual Education Achieve Week, which runs from June 11-15. Contact Sarwar Hussain and Melissa Leaist if you’re interested having a space to showcase your resources through posters and/or or printed materials.
