| Ontario Health Minister Eric Hoskins resigns Dr. Eric Hoskins announced his immediate resignation as the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care yesterday. Dr. Helena Jaczek, formerly the Minister of Community and Social Services, will be his replacement. She is a former physician at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto and the former Chief Medical Officer of Health in York Region. Dr. Hoskins will assume the chairmanship of a new National Advisory Board on Pharmacare to be announced in today’s federal budget.

The Early Psychosis Intervention Ontario Network is a provincial network of people who work in early psychosis intervention (EPI) services in Ontario, individuals who have received EPI services, and the family members and caregivers.EPION aims to promote rapid detection of psychosis and access to care, advance understanding of early psychosis through research and knowledge exchange, and implement and enhance standards of clinical practice for young people coping with early psychosis.
