Ontario’s 42nd provincial election occurred on June 7, 2018, and a majority progressive conservative government was elected. Meeting with the MPP who has been (re)elected in your riding is always a great idea. A meeting is to increase awareness around the importance and value of FHTs and NPLCs, and to advocate for expansions and investments. There are also many new MPPs who may not be familiar with team-based care models. MPPs are most interested in meeting with the people they represent and/or who serve their constituents, so we encourage you reach out.
