Deadline to apply for IHP Advisory Council this Friday
The current Communities of Practice (CoP) representing 13 different professions will dissolve and interprofessional health care providers will be represented by a new IHP Advisory Council. The Terms of Reference are here and all IHPs are welcome to apply. Deadline is this Friday, April 27, 2018.

As noted by Suzanne Trivers, Mount Forest FHT’s ED, “As we all embark on implementing Patients First and a population-based approach to health care planning, having data available, especially for rural communities that usually have health service providers who are stretched to capacity, is essential.”With that in mind, feel free to review the Rural Ontario Institute’s recently released Focus on Rural Ontario 2017 Fact Sheets which looked at Housing Need, Income Levels and Sources of Income.

ECHO evening series: Opioid Tapering and Hep B in primary care, May 7 & 31, 2018
ECHO continues to offer videoconference sessions to support primary care providers with complex and chronic conditions, such as chronic pain/opioids, liver diseases, rheumatology, and mental health and addictions.They have two upcoming evening series to accommodate care providers who can’t join the weekday sessions. The series are on May 7 and May 31. These are ECHO Ontario CME accredited sessions, and there is no fee. Register here.
