We need your input for our strategic plan

Dear members,
As you may be aware, the Association of Family Health Teams of Ontario (AFHTO) is undertaking a process to update our strategic plan to guide the organization and our work for the next three years.

Your input is crucial to this process. We want to ensure that the strategic plan we develop reflects the needs and aspirations of our diverse members. Therefore, we kindly request your participation in a brief survey to gather your feedback. The deadline to respond is April 10.

Invitation to participate in research on point-of-care ultrasound and continuous electronic fetal monitoring

“My name is Grecia Alaniz, and I am inviting you to participate in my doctoral research study on maternity care providers’ experiences using point-of-care ultrasound (PoCUS) and/or continuous electronic fetal monitoring (cEFM) in their care of pregnancy and childbirth. This study is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) and is being conducted under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Polzer and Dr. Samantha Doralp, Faculty of Health Sciences, Western University.

Study goals: The goal of this study is to better understand maternity care providers’ experiences using PoCUS and/or cEFM. By gaining insights into your experiences with one or both of these technologies, my aim is to gain a more in-depth understanding of the contexts that influence maternity care providers’ use of these technologies.” Read more here.
