Charity Village course deadline extended to March 6
On January 16 we sent an email to EDs/Admin leads, board chairs, and lead clinicians subject “Governance support update- deadline February 16” regarding partnership with Charity Village and other governance topics. The deadline to sign up for free governance courses has now been extended to March 6.

Get featured in the 2024 UofT Family Medicine Report
“As educators, researchers, and primary care providers, we experience the challenges in our health system daily. But we also see many reasons to be hopeful, and many colleagues who are working together with communities to address these challenges, improve access and attachment, and provide care that is safe and supportive for all.
Are you working with a community group or organization to improve care in your region? Tell us about your work for an opportunity to be featured in the 2024 UofT Family Medicine Report!
Projects could focus on improving access to care, attachment (supporting unattached patients), team-based care, health human resources, decolonizing healthcare, education, and research initiatives, and much more! Submit your project by February 27, 2024.
Submissions must include:
- Details of the project team (must include a community member/organization)
- A brief summary of your work (under 200 words)

Submissions will be selected for the report by the DFCM Patient Advisory Committee and editorial team. Those who are successful will be invited to submit an article or be interviewed for a feature about their work.”
