Health law professional development discount for AFHTO members
York University’s Osgoode Professional Development is offering a 10% discount to Association of Family Health Teams of Ontario (AFHTO) members who are interested in its health law programs with code AFHTO-10.
Designed for privacy officers and other professionals tasked with collecting, storing or managing health records, this program is an intensive deep dive to help you understand your obligation, and proactively mitigate and prevent risks. Complimentary tuition for Hospice Palliative Care Ontario education
Healthcare providers in community settings may be eligible for complimentary online person-centered decision making or palliative care education offered by Hospice Palliative Care Ontario (HPCO).
A limited number of spaces are available for Ontario-based providers or administrators to complete training by March 31, 2025. Eligible courses include Person-Centered Decision Making and PACE for PSWs. Further information is included here.

Registration with CPSO opens Jan 6 for Physician Assistants
“As you’ve likely heard by now, starting April 1, 2025, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) will become the regulator for all physician assistants (PAs) in Ontario. On January 6, CPSO will begin accepting applications from individuals who wish to register with CPSO as a PA.
Reminder: Ontario PAs must be registered with CPSO by April 1 to continue practising with the title of “physician assistant” in the province.
