Dr. Andrea Furlan, co-chair of ECHO Ontario Chronic Pain and Opioid Stewardship, spoke on November 19, 2018, about opioid tapering and tools for use in clinical practice. The following were the learning objectives: • Describe barriers and facilitators for a successful opioid taper • Develop an approach for managing opioid withdrawal • Remember some tools for use in clinical practice to assist in opioid tapering The slide deck can be seen here.
