The Board Chair Leadership Council (BCLC) enables FHT and NPLC board chairs to collaboratively identify and raise governance issues, and to advance knowledge transfer across the province for governance best practices. Members of the Council work with other FHT and NPLC board chairs in their region to seek input, to encourage collaborative governance, and to articulate the collective perspectives of boards in their constituencies. Terms of Reference (ToR) have been developed to guide the work of BCLC and to clearly identify its purpose, roles and responsibilities, and structure. The ToR may be amended as the Council evolves and work progresses.
This council dissolved in spring 2019 and merged with the Executive Director Advisory Council and the Physician Leadership Council to form the AFHTO Leadership Council.
