| Pilot sites for EMR tools needed Centre for Effective Practice is seeking primary care sites to help pilot test electronic medical record-integrated clinical tools. The EMR-integrated versions of these tools can be tested by up to eight Ontario primary care sites, per topic, to help evaluate the ease-of-use, impact and efficacy of the tools.Topics include:
Benefits to participating include access to hands-on, customized implementation support and training; improvements to clinical workflow; and routine patient assessment and care using the EMR-embedded tool. Ontario pain management resources Helping patients manage their pain is complex. To support primary care providers as they navigate this challenging landscape, AFHTO has partnered with Health Quality Ontario (HQO)and others across Ontario to provide a one-stop spot for primary care clinicians to find resources in Ontario to help manage their patients’ pain.Find a range of supports like guidelines on appropriate opioid use, CME-accredited webinars on chronic pain and direct links to medical mentors who can provide timely advice on challenging care issues. Resources are available online and updated regularly.CAMH also has a list of resources available. |
